​Orquesta Típica

 

La Orquesta Típica la Gentuza is a tango orchestra made up of six musicians who came together though of a shared fascination of tango music.

 

The various backgrounds of each of its musicians and their mutual love of this traditional Argentine genre add freshness and energetic dynamism to the traditional sounds of tango. Their cohesion, musical camaraderie and joy while playing together is something that surprises and captivates audiences.

 

Based almost entirely in the Brussels region, La Gentuza is interested in exploring traditional arrangements together in a group, the also play their own arrangements as well. Even though this groups is suited for concerts in halls or other events, La Gentuza was primarily conceived as an orchestra at the service of dancers, providing them with the symbiotic experience of live music and dance.
